The firm’s principal, Joshua E. Abraham, litigates regularly in the federal and state courts of New York City and surrounding jurisdictions. He has successfully prosecuted and defended a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, lien foreclosure, specific performance, and preferences and avoidable transfers. He has tried cases in federal and state courts, and in various arbitral forums, and provides general counsel to his clients on various corporate, risk management, and compliance matters. Joshua E. Abraham is proud to be recognized in the 2017 annual list of “Top 100” verdicts, released by VerdictSearch and ALM, and published in the National Law Journal. This record breaking $25.3 million jury verdict in LifeTree Trading Pte. Ltd. v. Washakie Renewable Energy LLC is ranked as #75 on the list of highest verdicts throughout the nation. The jury’s verdict was the largest trial verdict in the Southern District of New York, and was also ranked by the New York Law Journal as the top breach of contract case in the state.
